Fancy Hat Results
It’s always good to try something new, and that’s what Farmer’s Day did. This year marked the first “Fancy Hat Show” competition during Farmers Day. Thirteen competitors entered the Fancy Hat Show,entering one or more of the three categories. The categories included “Glitter and Glitz,” “Wild and Crazy,” and “Farmers Day Theme.”

Starting with the “Glitter and Glitz” category, Doris Natvig came in first with her purple hat, Karen Frost came in second with her roaring 30’s themed hat, Ashley Lang came in third with her “Elegant Affair” hat, Lacey McIntosh came in fourth with her red hat, and Elsie McIntosh came in 5th with her “Raiders” hat.

In the “Wild and Crazy” category, Maddie Johnson came in first with her troll themed hat, Joyce Hamblin came in second with her desert themed hat, and Mallorie McIntosh came in third with her ocean themed hat.

In the “Farmers Day” category, Jameson Johnson came in first with his bright green hat, Logan Lang came in second with his Dinosaur hat, Karen Frost came in third with her hat covered with dinosaurs, Betty Lorenz came in fourth with her dinosaur hat, and Lane McIntosh came in fifth with his dinomite hat.
